A son, Ryder Gabriel Freeman (Tamir Herschel), to SHANA RUBIN and SAMUEL FREEMAN of New York City on June 24, 2014. The maternal grandmother is Nancy Rubin of North Plainfield. The paternal grandparents are Jane and Barry Freeman of Westfield. Ryder Gabriel is named in memory of his maternal grandfather Gerald Rubin, his maternal great-grandfather Herbert Hurwitz, and his paternal great-grandmother Thelma Sicherman.
