Sheila Engelbach
Sheila Bloom Engelbach, 72, of Washington Crossing, Pa., died Oct. 27. She was raised in Trenton and Ewing and lived in the Bucks County area for many years.
Mrs. Engelbach taught 11th and 12th grade English in the Ewing public school system, became a substance abuse coordinator in the district, and also served as director of student activities for the Ewing school system. After her retirement, she consulted for the State of New Jersey as well as the Ewing school system.
She was a graduate of The College of New Jersey and received her master’s degree from Rider University.
She was a lifetime member of Women for Greenwood House, taught in the religious school at Har Sinai Temple, and volunteered for numerous charities.
She is survived by her husband, Peter; two daughters, Rebecca (Kyle) Berman and Barbara (Andrew) Schultz; a sister, Naomi Griffin; her stepchildren, Kim Snyder and Jean Engelbach; and five grandchildren.
Services were held Oct. 30 with arrangements by Orland’s Ewing Memorial Chapel, Ewing. Memorial contributions may be made to Lymphoma Research Foundation, Greenwood House, or Har Sinai Temple’s Robert H. Bloom Memorial Fund.
