Shirley Fleischer
Shirley Fleischer, 85, of Somerset, died June 23, 2013. She lived in Springfield for over 40 years before moving to Somerset seven years ago.
Mrs. Fleischer was a member of Hadassah in Somerset. She was an amateur artist specializing in sculpting and painting.
She is survived by her husband of almost 66 years, Alex; a son Jared (Cindy) of Scotch Plains; two daughters Ellen Lester (Chuck) and Mona Shulman (Jay) of Westfield; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were held June 25 at King Solomon Cemetery, Clifton, with arrangements by J.L. Apter Memorial Chapels of Cedar Grove. Memorial contributions may be made to Atlantic Hospice.
