Shirley Rabinowitz
Shirley Rabinowitz (Rubin), 95, of West Orange died July 17, 2017. Born and raised in Newark, she also had lived in Orange.
Mrs. Rabinowitz retired in 1990 as an office manager for Jabel Jewelry Manufacturing in Irvington. She later worked as a bookkeeper for their business, Robert Fine Footwear, until it closed in 1994.
She graduated from Weequahic High School, Newark, in 1938.
She was a member of Oheb Shalom Congregation in South Orange.
Predeceased by her husband, Saul, in 2002, she is survived by her children, Jay Rabinowitz and Amy Rabinowitz, and many nieces and nephews.
Services were held July 19 with arrangements by Bernheim-Apter-Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel, Livingston.
