Shuk to the Core returns to NJ
Shuk to the Core is a series of Israel vendor fairs designed to help support Israeli small businesses.
In November 2023, just five weeks after October 7, the first round of Shuk to the Core events was held, and in March 2024, Shuk to the Core returned and collectively generated over $1 million for over 45 vendors from across Israel.
Shuk to the Core round three will conclude with three events in New Jersey.
• Thursday, December 19, DSN Beach Club, Deal, 3:30-7:30 p.m.
• Saturday, December 21, Congregation Ohr Torah, Edison, 7-11 p.m.
• Sunday, December 22, The Frisch School, Paramus, noon-4 p.m.
Daniel Rothner of Areyvut — an organization whose mission is “to strengthen the culture of chesed (kindness), tzedakah (charity), and tikkun olam (social action) in contemporary Jewish life” — serves as an organizer of Shuk to the Core. He said, “We know these NJ communities stand with Israel, and we need them to come out to help the vendors finish strong and return to Israel knowing we care for them like family. Shuk to the Core provides a fun and meaningful way to connect with Israel, support these vendors, and by extension the Israeli economy.”
