Silver Linings
WHAT IS HAPPENING at this moment is unprecedented, and the ground beneath us continues to shift. But perhaps there are some silver linings to be uncovered during these trying times.
We’d like to know how this pandemic is affecting you, your family, and your community. What is your synagogue doing to aid congregants through the crisis? Have you adjusted your Jewish practices or adopted new traditions?
Tell us about those who have volunteered to help the elderly and other high-risk individuals, or innovative programs that organizations have launched to maintain a sense of normalcy.
Please share these stories with us and we’ll try to include your accounts in future editions of NJJN. Email submissions to editorial@njjewishnews.com and put “SILVER LININGS” in the subject line. You can also call and leave a message with your contact information at 973-739-8110.
We pray for the full and speedy recovery of those who are sickened by the virus and wish everyone chazak v’amatz, “strength and courage,” as we navigate this crisis together.
