Spencer Miller

Spencer Norman Miller, 82, of New York City died May 19, 2019. He was born in Jersey City.

Mr. Miller, a founding member of the Jersey City law firm Miller & Galdieri in 1972, which represented the city of Jersey City, Jersey City Housing Authority, Hoboken Housing Authority, and Jersey City Employment and Training Program, Inc., practiced law for more than 57 years.

A graduate of Columbia University (AB-class of 1958) and Syracuse University College of Law (JD-class of 1962), he was admitted to the bars of New York in 1962 and New Jersey in 1963.

He is survived by a sister, Marilyn Bobrow of Madison; a niece, Amy Steinberg of North Caldwell; a nephew, Scott Bobrow of Parkland, Fla.; and other nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Private services were held May 22 with arrangements by Bernheim-Apter-Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel, Livingston. Memorial contributions may be made to Columbia University’s Columbia College (CC) Unrestricted College Fund at givenow.columbia.edu.
