Stanley Friedman
Stanley Friedman, 87, of Sunrise, Fla., died Feb. 19, 2013. Born in Brooklyn, he was a former resident of Ewing Township for many years.
Mr. Friedman was employed by Lenox China and later was the proprietor of Friedman Furniture Service in Ewing before retiring.
He served in the Army during World War II.
He was past chancellor commander of Knights of Pythias Lodge, a member of Trenton Young Judaea, and the Delaware Valley Umpires Association. He had played professional baseball with the Washington Senators.
Predeceased by his wife, Doris M., he is survived by his son, William (Brenda) Friedman; his daughter, Miriam (Paul) Oppenheimer; and seven grandchildren.
Services were held Feb. 24 with arrangements by Orland’s Ewing Memorial Chapel, Ewing.
