STEINWEIS-PECK

Irva and Saul Steinweis of Stony Brook, NY, announce the engagement of their daughter, Gayle Shari, to Jason Lewis Peck, son of Florine and Thomas Peck of Pine Brook. The couple met on JDate in June 2009.

Ms. Steinweis graduated from University of Maryland, College Park, with a bachelor of arts degree in communications. She is a marketing project manager at UJA-Federation of New York.

Mr. Peck, a graduate of Montville High School, received a bachelor of science degree in marketing from Syracuse University and attended Miami Ad School for graphic design. He is a graphic designer at the New York Daily News.

A Sept. 4, 2011, wedding is planned.
