United Hatzalah New York gala

United Hatzalah’s annual New York Gala on June 11, at 5:30 p.m., at Cipriani Wall Street in Manhattan. Steve Witkoff, U.S. Special Envoy to the Middle East, will be the guest speaker. Mr. Witkoff’s son, Alex, the organization’s Gala Young Leadership chair, also will be honored, and Dr. Tamar Shlezinger will receive the Greenberg Traurig Courage award. Dr. Miriam Adelson is the gala chair.

The evening pays tribute to the emergency rescue organization, and its over 8,000 volunteers, trained and certified as EMTs, paramedics, or doctors, who respond to medical emergencies, day or night, seven days a week, 365 days a year – with an average response time of under three minutes.
