Walter Lebair
Walter Lebair, 90, died Aug. 4, 2016. He was a former resident of Ewing.
Mr. Lebair owned Lebair Auto Supplies in Trenton for many years and, after he sold the business, worked in the insurance industry. He obtained his CLU license, which was the standard for the industry, and later retired from the State of New Jersey where he worked for the NJ Commissioner of Insurance.
He served in the United States Air Force during World War II and was a member of Jewish War Veterans post 697. He also served as president on the Board of Cambridge Hall.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Alice Shutz Lebair; three daughters, Jodi (Leonard) Lebair-Yenchik of Orlando, Fla., Wendy Cannella of Tampa, Fla., and Allison (Kurt) Althouse of Reading, Pa.; a sister, Ethel Olsho; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Services were held Aug. 5 with arrangements by Orland’s Ewing Memoral Chapel, Ewing. Memorial contributions may be made to Compassion Care Hospice at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital.
