William Felder
William Felder, 74, of Lawrenceville died June 11, 2017. Born in Greensburg, Pa., he was a resident of Lawrenceville for most of his life.
Mr. Felder worked as a research chemist in the Princeton area for 45 years. He also was an adjunct professor at Mercer County Community College.
He earned a bachelor’s degree from University of Pennsylvania and a Ph.D. in physical chemistry from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
He was active with the Lawrence Hamnett soccer league, and served as a volunteer math tutor at the Princeton YMCA’s English as a Second Language program.
He is survived by his wife, Jane; two sons, Alan (Mara) and Michael (Karon Sharma); two brothers, Joseph and Louis Felder; a mother-in-law, Ruth Mendelson; and four grandchildren.
Services were held June 13 with arrangements by Orland’s Ewing Memorial Chapel, Ewing. Memorial contributions may be made to Myelodysplastic Syndromes Foundation (MDS Foundation).
