Albert Goldstein, 85, of Tinton Falls died Feb. 1, 2014. He was born in New York and raised in Plainfield and lived in Tinton Falls for the past 58 years.
Dr. Goldstein had been a consulting chemist for the past 43 years and continued to be active in his field until his death. He was a member of the Monmouth County Photography Club, the Guild of Creative Art, exhibited at the Monmouth Festival of the Arts, and had donated many photographs to brighten areas of Riverview Medical Center and Jersey Shore Medical Center.
An Eagle Scout, he served as scoutmaster of Troop 120 (New Shrewsbury) and was proud that his sons and a grandson also attained the same status. He was a founding member and chairman of the first building committee of Monmouth Reform Temple, Tinton Falls, where he also was a two-term president, remaining active during its 42 years of association with the Monmouth Festival of the Arts.
