Helen Newman

Helen Newman (Hodes), 94, of Edison died Nov. 29, 2018. Born in London, where she met and married her husband, an American soldier during World War II, she came to the United States in 1947.

Predeceased by her husband, Seymour, and her infant daughter, she is survived by three sons, Bradford (Pam), Ian (Debbie), and Lawrence; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Services were held Dec. 2 with arrangements by Goldstein Funeral Chapel, Edison.
