JCC MetroWest Life Long Learning programs
The JCC MetroWest Life Long Learning program has announced its February lineup of programs. They all will be in person at the JCC MetroWest in West Orange — some of them also will be live-streamed. The programs are sponsored by the JCC MetroWest Center for Adult Enrichment, the Essex County section of the National Council of Jewish Women, and RWJBarnabas Health/Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center.
On February 7, at 1 p.m., authors Bonnie Siegler and Helene Stapinski discuss their novel, “The American Way: A True Story of Nazi Escape, Superman, and Marilyn Monroe.” The program is free for NCJW and JCC members and $15 for guests. The Molly Burak annual lecture is on February 14, at 1 p.m. Martin Fletcher will discuss his book, “Teachers, The Ones I Can’t Forget,” on Zoom, to an audience in the JCC theater. Ruth Ross, a social activist, community member, and former teacher, will be the moderator. This program is free, but reservations are required. On February 21, at 1 p.m., hear Patricia Nolan, PT, discuss “Balance and Falls,” for a Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center lecture. This program is also free, but reservations are required.
