Jerome Lowen
Jerome “Jerry” Lowen, 89, of Aventura, Fla., died May 19, 2018. Born in New Brunswick, he spent most of his life in Highland Park before moving to Florida 20 years ago.
Mr. Lowen was the operator of Landis Ford in North Brunswick for many years. He also was the owner and operator of Aamaco Transmission of Bridgewater.
He graduated from Highland Park High School and General Motors Institute in Flint, Mich.
He was a lifelong member of Anshe Emeth Memorial Temple in New Brunswick and had served on its board of trustees.
He was an avid boater.
He was a member of the board of directors of the Aventura Condominium Association.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Blossom (Klein); two sons, Mark (Cindy) and Gary (Barbara); his daughter, Cindy (Ronald) Perl; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Services were held May 22, at Anshe Emeth Memorial Temple, with arrangements by Crabiel Parkwest Funeral Chapel, New Brunswick.
