JESPY House, the South Orange-based nonprofit organization that has supported adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities for 45 years, recently held its spring gala, “Invest in Success.” The fundraiser, held at the Crystal Plaza in Livingston, honored Stacey Davis, a dedicated and longtime board member. JESPY also paid tribute to clients Geri R., Andres G., Jeanine P., Zachary E., and Gerry J. In turn, each client discussed how JESPY helped them on their journey to self-confidence, accomplishments, and independence.

Gala guests included many JESPY supporters, donors (including Leon & Toby Cooperman), clients, families, board members, and staff. The gala raised more than $410,000 for essential programs and services that benefit clients, who are adults, 18 and older, with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Ms. Davis, who has served on the JESPY board for 12 years, is the board secretary, an executive committee member, and the co-chair of the Go Big for JESPY House campaign.

Outside of JESPY, Ms. Davis has been involved at the Jewish Federation of Greater MetroWest New Jersey, where she is board secretary and a member of both the executive and the governance committees. She is also a Federation Women’s Philanthropy past president and a former co-chair of the federation’s local allocations committee. She was a member of the national women’s philanthropy board for eight years, co-chairing two international missions.

JESPY House supports 300 clients in a variety of areas. To learn more or to support JESPY’s mission, go to www.jespyhouse.org.
