Rabbi Noah A. L. Diamondstein, Temple Beth-El of Hillsborough’s new spiritual leader, will be installed in December. He succeeds Rabbi Arnold Gluck, who retired in 2024 after more than three decades serving TBE.

“From our first interaction with Rabbi Diamondstein, it was clear he embodied the qualities and characteristics the community was seeking,” the synagogue’s search committee chair, Dr. Steve Weitz, said.

Rabbi Diamondstein brings a wide range of strengths and talents to TBE. He is highly regarded in the Reform Jewish movement for his musical talent. He was ordained by Hebrew Union College in 2020. Before coming to Hillsborough, he was the associate rabbi at Temple Sinai in Washington, D.C. Rabbi Diamondstein, his wife, Marnie Lang, who also is a Jewish professional, and their two young children have moved to the area. Rabbi Diamondstein will be officially welcomed and installed in early December.
