AFMDA plans NYC gala

American Friends of Magen David Adom will host its NYC gala on September 16 at Cipriani Wall Street. Dinner is at 6 p.m., followed by the program at 7:30, and a dessert reception.

Ari Ackerman, an entrepreneur, philanthropist, and Israel activist, is the master of ceremonies. Meghan McCain, a podcast host, former co-host of “The View,” and political columnist, will receive the Champion of Israel award. Yuval Raphael, Israel’s 2025 Eurovision representative, will perform.
