Betty Lou Lipscher

Betty Lou Lipscher, 76, of Lawrenceville died Nov. 7, 2010. She was born in Albany, NY.

In the early 1980s, Mrs. Lipscher founded a legal publishing company, the National Forensic Center, which grew from a small home operation to an entity that gained national recognition for its legal publications. Her company was the first of its kind to provide trial attorneys with a comprehensive database of expert witnesses and resources that could be utilized in the courtroom. She also conducted training seminars and organized national conferences for experts.

She graduated from Brandeis University, Waltham, Mass., in 1955 with a degree in economics.

She was a past president of the regional chapter of the National Council of Jewish Women.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Robert David Lipscher; three sons, Randolph of Albuquerque, NM, Marc of Chicago, and Gene of Jupiter, Fla.; her daughter, Pamela Falzon of Lawrenceville; her brother, Martin Silberg of Jericho, NY; and five grandchildren.

Services were held Nov. 9 with arrangements by Orland’s Ewing Memorial Chapel, Ewing. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, Denville.
