Evelyn Kornberg
Evelyn Kornberg, 71, of Marlboro died Nov. 18, 2019. Born in Manhattan, she resided in West Orange before moving to Marlboro in 1986.
Mrs. Kornberg was a teacher for various school districts for over 30 years. She also taught Hebrew and tutored students for their bar and bat mitzvahs.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Edward; two sons, Randy (Christine) of Freehold and Geoff (Andrea) of West Caldwell; her daughter, Wendi (Thomas) White of Freehold; a brother, Harold Jawetz of Passaic; and six grandchildren.
Services were held Nov. 20 with arrangements by Mount Sinai Memorial Chapels, East Brunswick. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
