Gerald Lebau

Gerald I. Lebau, 88, of Boca Raton, Fla., died Oct. 21, 2011. Born in Brooklyn, he grew up in Elizabeth and was a longtime resident of Scotch Plains before moving to Florida 20 years ago.

Dr. Lebau was a practicing dentist in Elizabeth before his retirement.

He graduated from the University of Maryland with a doctor of dental surgery degree.

He was a World War II veteran.

Dr. Lebau’s interests and passion lay in the study and reworking of all levels of physics and metaphysics. He wrote countless books and articles aimed at resolving some of the inconsistencies he found apparent in modern physics theory. He believed that he uncovered mistakes made by Albert Einstein and all that followed, and that he was able to uncover the necessary corrections.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Natalie; two daughters, Patricia Lebau of Northborough, Mass., and Robin Lebau Uribe of Cresskill; a sister, Ruth Lebau Brewster of Hillside; and four grandchildren.

Arrangements were handled by Weiss Memorial Chapel, Boynton Beach, Fla. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice by the Sea, Boca Raton; or the National Parkinson’s Foundation.
