JFCS opens new satellite office
Jewish Family & Children’s Service of Greater Mercer County (JFCS) opened a new satellite office at 133 Main St. in Hightstown on Sept. 26.
Services will be targeted toward teens and young adults struggling with mental health concerns and those in need of stabilization and education for navigating these challenges; it will also serve as a resource to a broad referral network of high-level services for substance abuse and acute mental health crises.
The expansion into the East Windsor & Hightstown communities is funded by the County of Mercer Department of Human Services and supported by I.C.A.R.E. of East Windsor-Hightstown (Initiative for Counseling, Addiction, Renewal & Education).
Services available at the new office will include mental health and substance abuse stabilization services, crisis case management, ongoing support, community outreach and education, and information and referrals.
Office hours will be Monday through Thursday, 2-7 p.m. For more information, call 609-987-8100 or go to jfcsonline.org.
