Melvin Ginsburg
Melvin Ginsburg, 75, of Somerset died Aug. 23, 2012. Born in New Brunswick, he lived in Highland Park for 25 years and Westfield for 35 years before moving to Somerset seven years ago.
Mr. Ginsburg was the owner and operator of VIP Business Systems, Woodbridge.
He was a 1955 graduate of Highland Park High School and received his BA degree in accounting from New York University.
He was a longtime member of Temple Emanu-El, Westfield, where he served on its board of trustees for many years and was instrumental in helping grow the nursery school. He was a member of the NJ Business Forms Association and numerous local organizations.
He is survived by his wife, Carol Goldstein Ginsburg; his son, Daniel of Wilton, Conn.; his daughter, Andrea Lokshin of Woodcliff Lake; a sister, Miriam Hyams of Somers, NY; and five grandchildren.
Services were held Aug. 26 with arrangements by the Crabiel Parkwest Funeral Chapel, New Brunswick. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
