Richard Raffman
Dr. Richard A. Raffman, 88, of Morristown died May 19, 2013. He was born in Paterson.
Dr. Raffman founded the Madison Medical Center, where he practiced for many years.
He attended Williams College and New York Medical College.
He received his private pilot’s license in his 40s, and in his 70s, returned to school to earn his master’s degree in liberal arts.
He was active in the Madison Rotary Club and the men’s club of Temple B’nai Or, Morristown.
He is survived by his wife of almost 55 years, Beverly; two sons, Mark and Andrew; his daughter, Susan; a sister, Caryl Rigler; and four grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held June 9 at 11 a.m. at Temple B’nai Or, Morristown; arrangements were handled by Dangler Funeral Home, Morris Plains.
