Talking about the Mussar Institute

Alan Morinis, founder of the Mussar Institute, was in Livingston last weekend; first as scholar in residence at Temple B’nai Abraham over Shabbat, and then on Temple Beth Shalom on Sunday. Mussar is a traditional Jewish practice focused on character development, aiming to refine personal traits by moving ethical ideals from theory into daily life.
