45th siyyum HaRambam at Bris Avrohom Center

Nearly 100 people attended a celebration to mark the completion of the 45th cycle of Sefer HaRambam. They met on motzei Shabbos Parshas Yisro at Congregation Shomrei Torah Ohel Yosef Yitzchok Bris Avrohom Center.
The Lubavitcher rebbe established the daily study of one to three chapters of Rambam for men, and Sefer HaMitzvos for women and children, and encouraged holding a siyyum at the end of each cycle, like the celebrations held after completing the Torah.
The guest speakers were the Kosoner Rebbe of Linden and Rabbi Chaim Halberstam of Union. The evening included dancing and a festive melaveh malka.
