9/11 memorial at Newark Airport
On Thursday, September 11, Rabbi Mordechai Kanelsky of Bris Avrohom spoke at a memorial service at Newark Liberty International Airport commemorating 24 years since the terror attack on the United States.
Rabbi Kanelsky cited Chapter 27 in Tehillim, which is said before Rosh Hashanah. He noted that “King David says he is not afraid of war because his trust is solely in God. He yearns to be close to Him — so too, as a country who blatantly proclaims, ‘in God we trust,’ we must not fear.” He added wishes for a happy, healthy, sweet New Year.
