‘Addressing Harassment’ is topic of Jewish Law Symposium
THE 12TH ANNUAL Jewish law symposium will be held Thursday, Sept. 13, at the Birchwood Manor in Whippany. The topic is “Addressing Harassment — Moral Dilemmas in Today’s Transparent World” and the featured presenter will be Justice Virginia Long, retired N.J. Supreme Court Justice, who will be introduced by Justice Jaynee LaVecchia.
Rabbi Shalom Lubin, founder of the Jewish Law Symposium and Chabad of SE Morris County, will moderate a panel discussion featuring: Rosemarie Alito, senior partner at K&L Gates; plaintiff’s attorney Neil Mullin; Karen J. Kessler, public relations expert; and Rabbi Shlomo Yaffe, Talmudic ethics
scholar.
A buffet dinner reception will begin at 5 p.m., followed by the program at 6:30 p.m. The cost is $150 per person, $80 for public sector attorneys and law clerks, $50 for law students. Scholarships are available upon request, and are subject to availability. CLE ethics credits and CPE credits will be provided.
