Camp Ramah in the Berkshires annual gala is set for May 9

Camp Ramah in the Berkshires will hold its annual gala on May 9. It will honor Eileen and Jerry Lieberman of Harrison, N.Y., and Susie and Joel Berman of Hewlett, N.Y. Arielle Glaser of Oradell, Eli Grossman of Teaneck, and Josh Wohl of East Brunswick will receive Alumni Leadership awards. Camp Ramah in the Berkshires, in Wingdale, N.Y., is celebrating its 60th anniversary.

The Liebermans, dedicated supporters of Ramah Berkshires, have been instrumental in founding the Tikvah program, enabling campers with a wide range of disabilities to enjoy all the magic camp has to offer.

The Bermans’ connection to Ramah spans three generations. Their commitment to camp includes participating in year-round Ramah Berkshires community events and hosting the annual Golf & Pool Outing in North Salem, N.Y.

Arielle Glaser, Eli Grossman, and Josh Wohl are leaders in the Alumni Association, engaging alumni through initiatives including Labor Day weekend for alumni at camp in Wingdale and the Ramah Basketball Association in NYC, and chairing the Golf & Pool Outing.

Ramah Berkshires is a vibrant summer camp community. From sports to the arts, swimming to outdoor adventure, camp is infused with the best of the traditions and values of Conservative Judaism: love of mitzvot, the Hebrew language, and the land and people of Israel; commitment to inclusion and tikkun olam; and the joy of learning and prayer.
