Chabad center offers courses on Deuteronomy and the Temple Mount
“Deuteronomy in Detail,” a new 10-week course on the biblical book of Deuteronomy, starts on Monday,
July 17, at 6:45 p.m. Also, “The Temple Mount in Jerusalem — Its History & Destiny,” a three-week interactive course, begins on Wednesday,
July 19, at 7 p.m. Rabbi Asher Herson will teach both courses in person and online at the Chabad Educational Center in Rockaway Township. Sessions are self-contained, and students can join at any time.
The classes on Deuteronomy offer insights into contemporary life circumstances and challenges.
The Temple Mount course focuses on the history and spiritual significance of the Temple in Jerusalem. There will be PowerPoint presentations, biblical and talmudic documentation, and archaeological findings.
The courses will take place during the Three Weeks, which commemorate the time, about 2,000 years ago, when the Romans destroyed Jerusalem and the Temple.
