Girls’ softball tournament plus Shabbaton in the Poconos
Female softball players from north and central New Jersey who attend Naaleh High School for Girls in Fair Lawn, Ma’ayanot Yeshiva High School for Girls in Teaneck, the Frisch School in Paramus, and Ilan High School in Ocean Township are part of this weekend’s 4G NCSY Softball Tournament at Camp Dora Golding.
The tournament will feature girls’ day school teams from the tristate area through Sunday, May 17. The tournament will be paired with a Shabbaton featuring intentionally minimal programming, giving participants space to connect, recharge, and simply enjoy being together.
The initiative, led by Suzanne Rabinovitch, reflects a growing demand for meaningful, low-pressure experiences for teen girls. With support from community members, the weekend blends athletics, community, and identity in a way that resonates beyond the field.
