Israeli tour guide Akiva Gersh presents “Israel’s Unique Food Culture — A Virtual Food Tour of Jerusalem’s Mahane Yehuda Market,” for Jewish Family Service of Central NJ. The Zoom program is set for Tuesday, February 28, at 3 p.m.

Participants will visit an Israeli shuk (market) and hear the story behind Israel’s unique and diverse food culture, which started to develop as Jews brought the tastes, ingredients, and cooking styles they’d encountered over the last 2,000 or so years.

The program is sponsored by JFSCNJ, the Jewish Federation of Greater MetroWest NJ, and the JFNA Center on Holocaust Survivor Care/Jewish Federations Institute on Aging and Trauma. Email info@jfscentralnj.org or call (908) 352-8375 to register and to receive a Zoom link on the day of the talk.
