JCC MetroWest to hold first teen film fest
THE INAUGURAL New Jersey Jewish Film Festival (NJJFF) Teen Film Fest will take place on Tuesday, Feb. 12, at 7:30 p.m. at the JCC
MetroWest’s Maurice Levin Theatre in West Orange.
The Teen Film Fest encourages young filmmakers in their creative endeavors. Entrants aged 13-18 and living in the Greater MetroWest area were requested to submit original short films under 10 minutes in length comprised of Jewish themes. Films by eight filmmakers will be screened.
“We are excited for the opportunity to showcase the talents of our Greater MetroWest NJ teen filmmakers to the broader JCC MetroWest community audience,” said Andrea Bergman, co-chair of the New Jersey Jewish Film Festival.
A dessert reception will follow the presentation of films. Entry is free; advanced registration is requested. RSVP to jccmetrowest.org/event/njjff-teen-film-fest or call 973-530-3417.
