Locals at international Chabad conference in NYC

Last weekend, approximately 6,500 rabbis and Jewish leaders from every state and more than 100 countries gathered in Manhattan for the annual Conference of Chabad-Lubavitch emissaries. It’s one of the largest Jewish gatherings in the world and the largest sit-down meal in the New York area.

This year’s conference came days after the abduction and murder of one of their colleagues, Rabbi Zvi Kogan, a Chabad-Lubavitch emissary to the United Arab Emirates, a tragedy that Rabbi Kogan’s colleagues marked with great sadness.
