Montclair Film to screen ‘Fioretta’
Montclair Film will show “Fioretta,” directed by Matthew Mishory, on Thursday, March 14, at the Clairidge 2 in Montclair.
The film is the story of history-obsessed Randy Schoenberg, who brings his reluctant teenage son Joey along for the journey of a lifetime, through Europe and the centuries. He aims to reclaim 500 years of their family story, encountering all sorts of people who witnessed Europe’s past. Randy is renowned for recovering Nazi-looted art. In the film, his greatest achievement might be reuniting the fractured and scattered shards of his own family. The film “Woman in Gold” is based on Randy Schoenberg’s story; Ryan Reynolds plays him.
