The New Jersey Jewish Public Officials Caucus, an affiliate of the New Jersey Jewish Business Alliance, convened recently at the New Jersey League of Municipalities conference in Atlantic City. The meeting of the bipartisan caucus brought together New Jersey leaders, policymakers, and officials; its goal is to empower Jewish public officials to better serve their communities and foster important and proactive conversations. Royal Wine and Jewish federations, including the Jewish Federation of Greater MetroWest, were among the sponsors.

David Rosenberg, the New Jersey Jewish Business Alliance’s executive director, thanked the conference’s sponsors and community partners, emphasizing their ongoing commitment to strengthening relationships between the business community and public officials. He highlighted the alliance’s mission to provide a platform for constructive dialogue and forward-thinking policy discussions that support continued statewide growth.

After Mr. Rosenberg’s remarks, Jason Shames, CEO of the Jewish Federation of Northern New Jersey and co-chair of the Public Officials Caucus, rallied support for the passage of the IHRA standard and other Jewish causes. Assemblyman Gary Schaer (D-36) talked about the importance of uniting as a Jewish community to pursue shared goals. Legislators, municipal leaders, agency representatives, and officials participated in a series of discussions and networking opportunities.
