ONE ISRAEL FUND hosted a reception March 19 to welcome Israel’s Consul General in New York Dani Dayan. Following the reception Dayan gave a public talk at Congregation Ahawas Achim B’nai Jacob & David in West Orange, where he focused on the development of the cyber-security sector in Beersheva and talked about his childhood in Argentina, his family’s aliyah, and his recent move from Tel Aviv to Ma’ale Shomron. Director of community development Natalie Sopinsky and executive vice president Scott Feltman spoke about Pina Chama, rest centers for soldiers that are staffed by volunteers, and other projects of One Israel Fund, a North American charity dedicated to supporting the 150 communities in Judea and Samaria in the areas of communal needs, medical equipment, and preventative security.
