Shakespeare theater presents Diary of Anne Frank
The F.M. Kirby Shakespeare Theatre, Madison, will present a stage version of the best-selling memoir The Diary of Anne Frank through Nov. 21.
Nearly 75 years ago, a young girl in the Netherlands received a diary for her 13th birthday. Today, Frank’s humor, strength, and innate goodness continue to inspire readers and audiences of all ages. The powerful story of her family’s will to survive comes to unforgettable life for a new generation in this adaptation of the Pulitzer, Tony, and Critic’s Circle Award-winning play.
The new version, originally written by Frances Goodrich and Albert Hackett, has been adapted by Wendy Kesselman and directed by Joseph Discher.
