Teach NJ director named to Sherrill’s transition team
Last week, Katie Katz, Teach NJ’s executive director, was appointed to New Jersey Governor-elect Mikie Sherrill’s Transition Action Team. This recognition demonstrates Teach NJ’s leadership and influence in shaping education policy statewide.
The Action Team will meet regularly, engage with communities across New Jersey, and develop recommendations focused on protecting children and improving quality of life for families. Ms. Katz’s leadership ensures New Jersey’s nonpublic school community has a strong, meaningful voice at the table, championing the success and needs of every student across New Jersey.
