Temple Sholom of West Essex students have a magical Passover

Last month, Temple Sholom of West Essex students conjured up an enchanting early Passover celebration with a touch of Hogwarts wizardry during “Harry Potter & The Unleavened Break.” The halls of Temple Sholom were aglow with the magic of freedom, faith, and a few well-placed spells.

Through the world of Harry Potter, students journeyed back to ancient Egypt, learning how the story of Moses, the Exodus, and the “passing over” of God’s forces of destruction celebrates the triumph of light over darkness and the power of faith to break every chain.
