Writer Anna Quindlen to speak at LifeTown on March 12
Pulitzer Prize-winning columnist and acclaimed author Anna Quindlen will discuss and sign copies of her latest book, “After Annie,” on Tuesday, March 12, at 7:30 p.m. The program, sponsored by [words] Maplewood’s Bookstore, a local independent bookseller, is at LifeTown Community Center in Livingston. Ms. Quindlen will be in conversation with reporter, writer, and editor Kate Gibson.
Ms. Quindlen’s memoir, “Lots of Candles, Plenty of Cake,” was a #1 New York Times bestseller. Her book “A Short Guide to a Happy Life” has sold more than a million copies. While a columnist at the New York Times she won the Pulitzer Prize for commentary, becoming only the third woman to win.
