Aron’s kosher market celebrates first birthday

More than 3,000 people from the New York metropolitan area attended the first birthday event for Aron’s, a 10,000-square-foot kosher supermarket in West Orange, that featured Jewish singers Mordechai Shapiro and Lipa Schmeltzer, a BMX bike show, moon bounces, face painting, giveaways, and a petting zoo; the Sept. 9 event was organized by Gershy Moskowitz.

“Aron’s West Orange should have longevity and success,” Schmeltzer told the crowd, “because their success means your success.”
