‘Designing’ cookbook author to give Pesach classes at Bed Bath & Beyond
CELEBRATED CULINARY EXPERT Susie Fishbein — author of the international best-selling “Kosher by Design” cookbook series — will offer kosher-for-Passover cooking classes at The Kitchen at Bed Bath & Beyond (BB&B) in East Hanover, March 17-25.
Aron’s Supermarket of West Orange is sponsoring and will provide all the ingredients for the classes.
Fishbein, a resident of Livingston, launched her cookbook career as co-editor of “The Kosher Palette: Easy and Elegant Modern Kosher Cooking,” issued in 2000 to raise funds for Joseph Kushner Hebrew Academy/Rae Kushner Yeshiva High School in Livingston.
Fishbein was named one of the 50 Most Influential Jews by “The Forward” in 2008 and was a guest at the White House in 2010 in recognition of National Jewish Heritage Month.
Fishbein will teach several “Getting Ready for Passover” classes for both individuals and groups featuring options that include two Seder Ideas menus and a Passover Mid-Week Dinner.
Randi Jeddis, BB&B culinary events manager, said participants who took part in Fishbein’s sold-out classes in 2019 at the store “loved her take on kosher cooking…. Susie’s classes appeal to all our customers, but making our kitchen kosher for the week opens up our classes to additional members of our wonderful kosher community.”
Registration is now open for both daytime and evening classes; the cost is $75 per class. Visit thekitchen.bedbathandbeyond.com or call 973-434-2700.
