Jeffrey J. Greenbaum wins Daniel J. O’Hern award

Jeffrey J. Greenbaum, chair of Sills Cummis & Gross’s class action practice group, received the 2026 Daniel J. O’Hern award from the New Jersey Commission on Professionalism in the Law. It was presented at the 2026 Professionalism awards luncheon at Forsgate Country Club in Monroe Township on June 11.

Mr. Greenbaum is a former president and a continuing long-term board member of Temple Beth Shalom in Livingston, a longtime former member of the Community Relations Committee of the Jewish Federation of Greater Metrowest NJ; and a former Israel Bonds board member.

The Daniel J. O’Hern award is presented annually by the NJ Commission on Professionalism in the Law; it’s a cooperative effort of the New Jersey State Bar Association, the New Jersey judiciary, and New Jersey’s law schools. It is given to an attorney who is a well-respected member of the legal community and exhibits integrity, competence, high ethical standards, career achievement, and service to the bar or the community.

Mr. Greenbaum has received many honors, including the NJBIZ ICON Honors in 2024. He’s been recognized in Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business since 2006, the Best Lawyers in America since 2005, Benchmark Litigation since 2008, and New Jersey Super Lawyers since 2005.
