Jews and the afterlife

Rabbi Matthew Gewirtz, senior rabbi of Temple B’nai Jeshurun in Short Hills, will discuss “Do Jews Believe in an Afterlife?” on Zoom on February 26, at 1 p.m. The free talk is sponsored by the West Morris section of the National Council of Jewish Women, as part of its Our Jewish World program. Rabbi Gerwitz, an advocate for social justice, is president of the Coalition of Religious Leaders for the State of New Jersey, and a fellow at CLAL.
