A daughter, Samantha Paige (Ruchel Perel), to MICHELLE KNOLLER SCHAFFEL and CARL SCHAFFEL of Huntingdon, Pa., on July 1, 2014. The maternal grandmother is Sharon R. Knoller of Scotch Plains. The paternal grandparents are Rona Schaffel of New Haven, Conn., and William Schaffel of Hartford, Conn. The paternal great-grandmother is Ruth Russian of Willimantic, Conn. Samantha Paige is named in memory of her great-grandmothers Ruth Roberts and Pauline Zenchoff.

Samantha joins a brother, Asher Ryan.
