Mark Van Buren, an author and mental fitness trainer from Bergen County, leads “Guided Meditation to Relieve Caregiver Stress,” a virtual program for Jewish Family Service of Central NJ, on Tuesday, January 24, at 7 p.m., on Zoom.

Mr. Van Buren will explore practices and meditations meant to transform life’s suffering and difficulties with compassion.  He will talk about how pain and sorrow can be used as fertilizer for awakening hearts and minds.

Mr. Van Buren’s book, “Your Life Is Meditation,” is a guide for meditation and mindfulness-based training. With more than a decade of experience in the field, he leads meditation workshops, lectures, professional development days, corporate wellness classes, and silent retreats in a practical accessible way. He offers simple tools and practices that can help reduce stress, anxiety, and depression, manage pain, and transform difficult aspects of life.

The event is co-sponsored by JFSCNJ with the Jewish Federation of Greater MetroWest NJ and the Jewish Federations of North America.

To register and receive the Zoom link, email info@jfscentralnj.org or call (908) 352-8375.
